Description

The ENDOD1 (endonuclease domain containing 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

ENDOD1 may act as a DNA-cutting enzyme (DNase) and an RNA-cutting enzyme (RNase). It is involved in regulating the body's innate immune response, specifically the cGAS-STING pathway, by interacting with another protein called RNF26.
