DPYSL3

Description

The DPYSL3 (dihydropyrimidinase like 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 5.

DPYSL3 is a gene that encodes an enzyme called Dihydropyrimidinase-related protein 3 in humans. Recent bioinformatics research suggests that the DPYSL3 gene might have a role in predicting the course of neuroblastoma.

DPYSL3 is involved in signaling by class 3 semaphorins, which leads to the reorganization of the cytoskeleton. It plays a crucial role in directing the growth of axons, causing the collapse of neuronal growth cones, and guiding cell migration.

DPYSL3 is also known as CRMP-4, CRMP4, DRP-3, DRP3, LCRMP, ULIP, ULIP-1.
