NECTIN4

Description

The NECTIN4 (nectin cell adhesion molecule 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

NECTIN4 is involved in cell adhesion through interactions with itself (trans-homophilic) and other molecules, particularly NECTIN1 (trans-heterophilic). It is not a receptor for alpha-herpesvirus.

NECTIN4 is also known as EDSS1, LNIR, PRR4, PVRL4, nectin-4.
