DDX52
Description
The DDX52 (DExD-box helicase 52) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.
DDX52 is a human gene that encodes an enzyme known as probable ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX52.
DDX52 is essential for efficient ribosome production. It may also regulate cell cycle progression by controlling the translation of specific mRNAs that have a terminal oligo pyrimidine (TOP) motif in their 5' UTRs, such as GTPBP4.
DDX52 is also known as HUSSY19, ROK1.
