DCAF8

Description

The DCAF8 (DDB1 and CUL4 associated factor 8) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

DCAF8 is a human gene that encodes a WD repeat-containing protein. The protein interacts with the Cul4-Ddb1 E3 ligase macromolecular complex. Multiple alternative spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.

DCAF8 may function as a substrate receptor for the CUL4-DDB1 E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex.

DCAF8 is also known as GAN2, H326, WDR42A.
