Description

The CTNNA3 (catenin alpha 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 10.

Catenin alpha-3, also known as αT-catenin, is a type of α-catenin protein found in humans. It's encoded by the CTNNA3 gene.

This protein may play a role in creating cell-cell junctions that are resistant to stretching.

CTNNA3 is also known as ARVD13, VR22.
