CDCA3
Description
The CDCA3 (cell division cycle associated 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.
CDCA3 (Cell division cycle-associated protein 3) is a protein encoded by the CDCA3 gene in humans. It has been shown to interact with SKP1A. You can find more information about the CDCA3 gene and its location in the UCSC Genome Browser.
CDCA3 acts as an F-box-like protein, essential for initiating mitosis. It works within E3 ligase complexes, promoting the ubiquitination and degradation of WEE1 kinase during the G2/M phase of the cell cycle.
CDCA3 is also known as GRCC8, TOME-1, TOME1.
