CDA

Description

The CDA (cytidine deaminase) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

CDA, Cda, or CdA can refer to different things. In the context of human genes, CDA refers to the gene that encodes cytidine deaminase, an enzyme involved in the metabolism of pyrimidine nucleotides.

CDA, also known as cytidine deaminase, is an enzyme that breaks down cytidine and deoxycytidine, both from outside the body and produced within the body, into UMP (uridine monophosphate).

CDA is also known as CDD.
