CCDC134

Description

The CCDC134 (coiled-coil domain containing 134) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 22.

CCDC134 is secreted outside the cell and promotes the growth and activation of CD8+ T cells, suggesting it acts like a cytokine. It enhances the ability of CD8+ T cells to kill tumor cells. CCDC134 can also decrease the activity of ERK and JNK signaling pathways, which may lead to reduced cell migration and invasion. CCDC134 plays a critical role in bone development.

CCDC134 is also known as OI22.
