BUD13

Description

The BUD13 (BUD13 homolog) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

BUD13 plays a role in pre-mRNA splicing as part of the activated spliceosome. Evidence suggests it is involved in splicing U12-type introns within pre-mRNAs as a component of the minor spliceosome. This involvement is supported by research findings published in PubMed IDs 29360106, 29361316, and 33509932.

BUD13 is also known as Cwc26, fSAP71.
