BOLA2B
Description
The BOLA2B (bolA family member 2B) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 16.
BOLA2B acts as a cytosolic iron-sulfur (Fe-S) cluster assembly factor, facilitating the insertion of [2Fe-2S] clusters into a specific set of cytosolic proteins. It collaborates with the monothiol glutaredoxin GLRX3 in this process.
BOLA2B is also known as BOLA2.
