BCL7B

Description

The BCL7B (BAF chromatin remodeling complex subunit BCL7B) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 7.

BCL7B is a human gene that encodes a protein belonging to the B-cell CLL/lymphoma 7 protein family. This protein is a positive regulator of apoptosis and plays a role in the Wnt signaling pathway, negatively regulating the expression of Wnt signaling components CTNNB1 and HMGA1. BCL7B is also involved in cell cycle progression, maintenance of the nuclear structure and stem cell differentiation. Additionally, it may play a role in lung tumor development or progression.

BCL7B is also known as SMARCJ2.
