ZFR

Description

The ZFR (zinc finger RNA binding protein) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 5.

Zinc finger RNA binding protein is a protein in humans that is encoded by the ZFR gene.

ZFR plays a crucial role during the early stages of embryonic development, specifically in the postimplantation and gastrulation phases. It is involved in the transport of STAU2 protein between the nucleus and cytoplasm. Additionally, ZFR has the ability to bind to both DNA and RNA.

ZFR is also known as SPG71, ZFR1.
