ZBTB20

Description

The ZBTB20 (zinc finger and BTB domain containing 20) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

ZBTB20 is a protein encoded by the ZBTB20 gene in humans. It has been suggested that ZBTB20 might be associated with primrose disease.

ZBTB20 potentially acts as a transcription factor, contributing to processes such as hematopoiesis, oncogenesis, and immune responses. Additionally, it plays a role in postnatal muscle development (myogenesis) and may regulate the self-renewal of satellite cells, which are important for muscle repair.

ZBTB20 is also known as DPZF, HOF, ODA-8S, PRIMS, ZNF288.
