Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis (IPN)
Description:
Infectious pancreatic necrosis (IPN) is a highly contagious viral disease that affects salmonid fish, particularly farmed Atlantic salmon. It is caused by the infectious pancreatic necrosis virus (IPNV), which belongs to the family Birnaviridae. IPN virus infects the exocrine pancreas, causing severe inflammation, necrosis, and destruction of pancreatic tissue.

- Viral hemorrhagic septicemia (VHS)
- Infectious hematopoietic necrosis virus (IHNV)
- Vibriosis
