ATL3

Description

The ATL3 (atlastin GTPase 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

Atlastin-3 is a GTPase that tethers membranes by forming trans-homooligomers, facilitating the fusion of endoplasmic reticulum membranes. It plays a critical role in the biogenesis of the endoplasmic reticulum tubular network.

ATL3 is also known as HSN1F.
