DCAF17 : DDB1 and CUL4 associated factor 17

Description

The DCAF17 (DDB1 and CUL4 associated factor 17) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

The DCAF17 gene provides instructions for making a protein whose function is currently unknown. This gene is active in several organs and tissues, including the brain, skin, and liver. Within cells, the protein is located in the nucleolus, a region within the nucleus where ribosomes are assembled. However, it is unclear whether the DCAF17 protein is involved in this process.

DCAF17 is also known as C20orf37, C2orf37.
