Gastroparesis (GATS-3)
Description:
Gastroparesis is a chronic condition that affects the normal functioning of the stomach. It is characterized by delayed gastric emptying, which means that the food you eat remains in your stomach for an unusually long period. This leads to a variety of symptoms, including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating, and early satiety (feeling full quickly).

Gastroparesis can be caused by a number of underlying conditions, including:
- Diabetes
- Multiple sclerosis
- Parkinson's disease
- Lupus
- Scleroderma
- Amyloidosis
- Post-viral infections
- Certain medications (such as opioids and anticholinergics)
