GATAD2A
Description
The GATAD2A (GATA zinc finger domain containing 2A) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19.
GATAD2A is a transcriptional repressor protein. It is a member of the NuRD complex, which is a multi-protein complex that participates in chromatin remodeling and histone deacetylation. GATAD2A enhances repression mediated by MBD2, and efficient repression requires the presence of GATAD2B.
GATAD2A acts as a transcriptional repressor. It is a component of the NuRD complex, which is involved in chromatin remodeling and histone deacetylation. GATAD2A enhances repression mediated by MBD2, and efficient repression requires the presence of GATAD2B.
GATAD2A is also known as p66alpha.
