The GAS7 (growth arrest specific 7) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.
GAS7, or Growth arrest-specific protein 7, is a protein encoded by the GAS7 gene in humans. It's primarily found in fully developed brain cells, particularly in mature Purkinje neurons within the cerebellum. GAS7 is thought to be involved in neuronal development. Multiple variations of the protein, differing in their N-terminal regions, have been identified.
