GAGE1
Description
The GAGE1 (G antigen 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome X.
GAGE1 is an antigen that is recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) on melanoma cells. CTLs are a type of immune cell that can kill cancer cells.
GAGE1 is also known as CT4.1, CT4.4, GAGE-1, GAGE-4, GAGE4.
