Description

The FUT10 (fucosyltransferase 10) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

FUT10, also known as Fucosyltransferase X or Galactoside 3-L-fucosyltransferase 10, is an enzyme that adds a fucose sugar molecule to specific locations on sugar chains called N-glycans. It is important in regulating protein folding and degradation, as well as in the development of the brain.
