FOXRED2
Description
The FOXRED2 (FAD dependent oxidoreductase domain containing 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 22.
FOXRED2 is thought to play a role in the endoplasmic reticulum associated degradation (ERAD) pathway. It may bind misfolded proteins in the ER and direct them to the ubiquitination machinery for degradation.
FOXRED2 is also known as ERFAD.
