FMNL1
Description
The FMNL1 (formin like 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.
FMNL1 is a protein encoded by the FMNL1 gene in humans. It belongs to the formin-related protein family, which is involved in morphogenesis, cytokinesis, and cell polarity. FMNL1 has been shown to interact with Profilin 1, PFN2, and RAC1. An alternative splice variant of FMNL1 exists, but its full-length sequence has not been determined.
FMNL1 is also known as C17orf1, C17orf1B, FHOD4, FMNL, KW-13.
