ETAA1

Description

The ETAA1 (ETAA1 activator of ATR kinase) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

ETAA1 is a replication stress response protein that accumulates at DNA damage sites and promotes replication fork progression and integrity. It is recruited to stalled replication forks through interaction with the RPA complex and directly stimulates ATR kinase activity independently of TOPBP1. This protein likely regulates only a subset of ATR targets.

ETAA1 is also known as ETAA16.
