DYNLRB2

Description

The DYNLRB2 (dynein light chain roadblock-type 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 16.

DYNLRB2, also known as Dynein light chain 2B, is a non-catalytic accessory component of the cytoplasmic dynein 1 complex. It helps connect dynein to cargo and adapter proteins that regulate dynein function. Cytoplasmic dynein 1 is a motor protein responsible for the movement of vesicles and organelles along microtubules within the cell.

DYNLRB2 is also known as DNCL2B, DNLC2B, ROBLD2.
