DUS1L

Description

The DUS1L (dihydrouridine synthase 1 like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

DUS1L catalyzes the production of dihydrouridine, a modified base crucial for the structure and function of tRNAs. This modification is specifically incorporated into the D-loop region of most tRNA molecules.

DUS1L is also known as DUS1, PP3111.
