DPP10

Description

The DPP10 (dipeptidyl peptidase like 10) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 2.

DPP10 is a human protein encoded by the DPP10 gene. It is a type II transmembrane protein that belongs to the S9B family of serine proteases. While DPP10 lacks detectable protease activity due to the absence of a conserved serine residue in its catalytic domain, it binds specific voltage-gated potassium channels and influences their expression and biophysical properties. Mutations in the DPP10 gene have been linked to asthma and autism spectrum disorders.

DPP10 is also known as DPL2, DPPY, DPRP-3, DPRP3.
