DNASE2B
Description
The DNASE2B (deoxyribonuclease 2 beta) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.
DNASE2B, also known as DNase II-like acid DNase, hydrolyzes DNA under acidic conditions without requiring divalent cations for activity. It plays a role in the degradation of nuclear DNA during lens cell differentiation.
DNASE2B is also known as DLAD.
