DCAF16

Description

The DCAF16 (DDB1 and CUL4 associated factor 16) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 4.

DCAF16 serves as a substrate recognition component within the CUL4-DDB1 E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex. This complex facilitates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasome-mediated degradation of nuclear proteins.

DCAF16 is also known as C4orf30.
