DCAF11
Description
The DCAF11 (DDB1 and CUL4 associated factor 11) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 14.
DDB1- and CUL4-associated factor 11, also known as WD Repeat Domain 23 (WDR23), is a protein encoded by the DCAF11 gene in humans. It contains seven repeats of the WD40 protein domain, which forms a closed circular solenoid structure. WDR-23 exists in two forms due to alternative splicing, a cytoplasmic WDR-23A and a nuclear WDR-23B. These two isoforms have distinct roles in the cell.
DCAF11 is also known as GL014, PRO2389, WDR23.
