CSPG5

Description

The CSPG5 (chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 5) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 5 is a protein in humans, encoded by the CSPG5 gene. It has been shown to interact with the protein GOPC. The CSPG5 gene location and details can be found in the UCSC Genome Browser.

CSPG5 potentially acts as a growth and differentiation factor during the development of nerve fibers (neuritogenesis) and might activate the ERBB3 receptor.

CSPG5 is also known as NGC.
