CSNK1A1L

Description

The CSNK1A1L (casein kinase 1 alpha 1 like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 13.

CSNK1A1L, also known as Casein kinase I isoform alpha-like (CKI-alpha-like) or CK1, belongs to a family of enzymes known as casein kinases. These kinases are characterized by their preference for phosphorylating acidic proteins, like caseins. CSNK1A1L has the ability to phosphorylate a wide range of proteins, and it plays a role in Wnt signaling pathways.

CSNK1A1L is also known as CK1.
