Description
The CSHL1 (chorionic somatomammotropin hormone like 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.
CSHL1 may function as a novel gestational hormone, playing a crucial role in compensating for the absence of other hormones in the GH/CS cluster during pregnancy.
