CRLF3

Description

The CRLF3 (cytokine receptor like factor 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

CRLF3 is a protein encoded by the CRLF3 gene in humans. While its signaling pathways are not fully understood, it is likely to act as a neuroprotective erythropoietin receptor. CRLF3 originated in the common ancestor of Cnidaria and Bilateria, coinciding with the evolution of the nervous system.

CRLF3 is also known as CREME-9, CREME9, CRLM9, CYTOR4, FRWS, p48.2.
