Description

The CRH (corticotropin releasing hormone) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 8.

CRH may refer to: Corticoliberin, Corticotropin-releasing factor, Corticotropin-releasing hormone.

CRH plays a crucial role in regulating the release of corticotropin from the pituitary gland. It also induces NLRP6 in intestinal epithelial cells, potentially influencing the gut microbiota profile.

CRH is also known as CRF, CRH1.
