CNOT10

Description

The CNOT10 (CCR4-NOT transcription complex subunit 10) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

CNOT10, encoded by the CNOT10 gene in humans, is a protein that is part of the CCR4-Not deadenylase complex.

CNOT10 plays a crucial role in mRNA degradation, miRNA-mediated repression, translational repression during initiation, and general transcription regulation by being a component of the CCR4-NOT complex, a major cellular mRNA deadenylase. This influence on mRNA expression can lead to additional complex functions. CNOT10 is not essential for the association of CNOT7 with the CCR4-NOT complex.

CNOT10 is also known as -.
