CNKSR1

Description

The CNKSR1 (connector enhancer of kinase suppressor of Ras 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

CNKSR1, encoded by the CNKSR1 gene in humans, is an enzyme essential for receptor tyrosine kinase pathways, possibly acting as a tyrosine phosphorylation target. It regulates RAF activity within the MAPK pathway and potentially contributes to a MAPK-independent pathway. CNKSR1 interacts with RhoD and RASSF1.

CNKSR1 potentially acts as an adapter protein or a regulatory element in Ras signaling pathways.

CNKSR1 is also known as CNK, CNK1.
