Description

The CLTCL1 (clathrin heavy chain like 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 22.

Clathrin, the primary protein forming the polyhedral coat of coated pits and vesicles, is linked to the plasma membrane or trans-Golgi network by two distinct adapter protein complexes.

CLTCL1 is also known as CHC22, CLH22, CLTCL, CLTD.
