CLEC1A

Description

The CLEC1A (C-type lectin domain family 1 member A) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 12.

CLEC1A (C-type lectin domain family 1 member A) is a gene that encodes a protein belonging to the C-type lectin/C-type lectin-like domain (CTL/CTLD) superfamily. These proteins share a common structure and are involved in various cellular functions, including adhesion, signaling, glycoprotein turnover, and immune response. CLEC1A may play a role in regulating dendritic cell function. The gene is located on chromosome 12p13 within the natural killer gene complex region and has multiple splice variants with unknown biological roles.

CLEC1A is also known as CLEC-1, CLEC1.
