CITED4

Description

The CITED4 (Cbp/p300 interacting transactivator with Glu/Asp rich carboxy-terminal domain 4) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

CITED4 acts as a transcriptional coactivator for TFAP2/AP-2, enhancing estrogen-dependent transactivation mediated by estrogen receptors. It may also inhibit transactivation by HIF1A by disrupting HIF1A interaction with CREBBP. CITED4 plays a role in regulating gene expression during development and differentiation of blood cells, endothelial cells, and mammary epithelial cells.

CITED4 is also known as -.
