CHADL

Description

The CHADL (chondroadherin like) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 22.

CHADL may play a role in regulating chondrocyte differentiation by potentially acting as a negative modulator. It has been shown to inhibit collagen fibrillogenesis in laboratory settings, suggesting it could influence chondrocyte differentiation by altering the collagenous environment surrounding these cells.

CHADL is also known as SLRR4B.
