CEACAM20

Description

The CEACAM20 (CEA cell adhesion molecule 20) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 19.

CEACAM20, or carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 20, is a carcinoembryonic antigen encoded by the CEACAM20 gene in humans.

CEACAM20, in collaboration with the tyrosine-protein kinase SYK, amplifies the production of the cytokine CXCL8/IL-8 through the NFKB pathway, suggesting a role in regulating the intestinal immune response.

CEACAM20 is also known as UNQ9366.
