Description
The CDO1 (cysteine dioxygenase type 1) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 5.
CDO1 catalyzes the oxidation of cysteine to cysteine sulfinic acid using molecular oxygen.
CDO1 is also known as CDO-I.
