CDC42BPG

Description

The CDC42BPG (CDC42 binding protein kinase gamma) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 11.

CDC42BPG may act as a downstream effector of CDC42 in cytoskeletal reorganization. It contributes to actomyosin contractility, crucial for cell invasion, by regulating MYPT1 and consequently MLC2 phosphorylation.

CDC42BPG is also known as DMPK2, HSMDPKIN, KAPPA-200, MRCKG, MRCKgamma.
