Description

The CD1C (CD1c molecule) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 1.

CD1c is an antigen-presenting protein that binds to both self and non-self lipid and glycolipid antigens, presenting them to T-cell receptors on natural killer T-cells.

CD1C is also known as BDCA1, CD1, CD1A, R7.
