CCND2-AS1

Description

The CCND2-AS1 (CCND2 antisense RNA 1) is a ncRNA gene located on chromosome 12.

CCND2-AS1 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that is located on chromosome 11q13.1. It is transcribed from the opposite strand of the CCND2 gene, which encodes cyclin D2, a protein that plays a role in cell cycle regulation. CCND2-AS1 is highly expressed in a variety of tissues, including breast, lung, and colon. Studies have shown that CCND2-AS1 expression is often dysregulated in cancer, suggesting that it may play a role in tumorigenesis.

CCND2-AS1 is a long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that has been implicated in a variety of cellular processes, including cell proliferation, apoptosis, and migration. Studies have shown that CCND2-AS1 expression is often dysregulated in cancer, suggesting that it may play a role in tumorigenesis. The exact mechanisms by which CCND2-AS1 exerts its effects are still being investigated, but it is thought to act through a variety of pathways, including by regulating the expression of other genes, interacting with proteins, and modulating microRNA activity.

CCND2-AS1 is also known as CCND2-AS2.
