CCL3L3

Description

The CCL3L3 (C-C motif chemokine ligand 3 like 3) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 17.

CCL3L3 is a chemokine that attracts lymphocytes and monocytes to sites of inflammation. It binds to the receptors CCR1, CCR3, and CCR5. CCL3L3 has been shown to inhibit HIV-1 infection. The processed form, LD78-beta(3-70), is a more potent chemoattractant and HIV-1 inhibitor than the full-length protein.

CCL3L3 is also known as 464.2, D17S1718, G0S19-2, LD78, LD78BETA, SCYA3L, SCYA3L1.
