CAMK2N2

Description

The CAMK2N2 (calcium/calmodulin dependent protein kinase II inhibitor 2) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

CAMK2N2 is a potent and specific inhibitor of CaM-kinase II (CAMK2). It binds to and traps Ca(2+)/calmodulin on CAMK2, preventing its activation.

CAMK2N2 is also known as CAM-KIIN, CAMKIIN.
