C3orf52

Description

The C3ORF52 (chromosome 3 open reading frame 52) is a protein-coding gene located on chromosome 3.

C3ORF52 plays a role in the synthesis of 2-acyl lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), a bioactive lipid mediator, through its interaction with LIPH. LPA is involved in various biological processes and is crucial for hair growth and development.
